Laatste bedrijfsnieuws over India vertraagt uiterste termijn voor „Één Zon, One World, Één Net“ plan

[Cable Network News] Due to the impact of the COVID-19 virus pandemic, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) on Thursday extended the various proposals under its recently proposed "One Sun, One World, One Grid (OSOWOG)" plan The deadline for this event.

The ministry said: "In view of the COVID-19 pandemic that has led to widespread situations and blockades in many parts of the country, and at the request of many consulting companies, it has been decided to extend the timetable for proposal application activities."

The deadline for the pre-tender meeting has been extended to June 22, 2020. The previous deadline was June 5, 2020. The submission date of the proposal has also been extended from its previous deadline to July 22, 2020.

The date for submitting questions has been extended from its earlier deadline of June 15, 2020 to June 29, 2020. In response to the supplier’s request for clarification, it stated that it will provide responses in a rolling manner and provide the final response no later than July 13, 2020. The earliest date for submitting a response is June 29, 2020.

According to the requirements of the MNRE proposal submitted last month, India plans to use this method to establish an interconnected transmission grid between the states to supply clean energy.

MNRE has begun working with a consulting company to develop a long-term vision, implementation plan, road map and institutional framework to implement the ambitious OSOWOG plan.

OSOWOG will be divided into three stages. In the first phase, the Indian power grid is interconnected with the power grids in the Middle East, South Asia and Southeast Asia to share solar energy and other renewable energy resources to meet power demand, including peak demand. In the second phase, the grid constructed in the first phase is interconnected with the African electricity pool, sharing solar and other renewable energy power in countries rich in solar and renewable energy. The third stage will realize the interconnection of the global power grid, and finally realize the vision of "one sun, one world, one power grid".
